Samsung's premium mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A50, has been thoroughly analyzed!

Although plastic is the back surface, Samsung has not used plain plastic here, of course. It has a  3D glass  plastic surface and doesn't give the impression of plastic when you touch it. This surface emits different tones depending on the light, thus making the phone look beautiful. So much so that even though the model we had was black, we could understand it when we read the phrase in the box. Because the phone, dark blue under the sunlight, creates a dark blue impression. In the meantime, you can also find the Galaxy A50 in blue, white and coral.

The thickness of the Galaxy A50 is  7.7 mm , but the curvature of the edges on the back of the phone makes it look much thinner. And its weight is 166 grams. With this, the price of the competitor  Xiaomi Pocophone F1 weighs 182 grams lighter than the weight.

Now that we have tried during the time we use, we can easily say that the  integrated fingerprint sensor on the screen  works well. At first we can say that it was a little slow during the diagnostic period when registering your fingerprint. However, you are not experiencing any difficulties after use.

In the meantime, the Galaxy A50's fingerprint sensor  doesn't have ultrasonic features like the Galaxy S10 . On the other hand, your finger is not detected when wet. As you know, the S10 was unlocked when you touched the sensor while your finger was wet. At this point, the Samsung Galaxy A50'e cuts naturally due to the class difference.

At this point, let's say: if you want to buy a screen saver, make sure it supports the integrated fingerprint sensor. Otherwise, you cannot use this feature.

The only security method on the Galaxy A50 isn't fingerprints. Face recognition is also available. Face recognition is also quick, but   if you try to open it with the Galaxy S10 Plus at the same time, S10 is obviously moving faster at this point.

You can set face recognition again in the form of faster or slower recognition. Choosing faster recognition will compromise your security. In quick recognition, you can unlock the phone more quickly, but at this point the phone can unlock from a photo. The choice here is up to you.

Galaxy A50 Operating System

The operating system used in the Galaxy A50 is very fresh. The phone, which comes with Android 9, uses the One UI 1.1 version as the interface. This new interface, which Samsung uses in its top models, looks just as good as we mentioned in our Galaxy S10 Plus review and provides simplicity with its simple design.

If you give us a few hints about the operating system, you  can access the Bixby Home and routines section , as in the Galaxy S10, when you take the screen to the right  . You can access the notifications and news via cards from a single screen.

Samsung's virtual assistant, Bixby  , is also included in the Galaxy A50 . However, the phone does not have a physical key assigned to it. If you are actively using Bixby and you want to assign it to a key, this option is available. In the drawer on the screen, there is an icon called "Power key for Bixby". You  can assign a key to Bixby on the home screen by pressing it  . In this way, you can also wake up Bixby when you hold down the power button. This time, you need to use the power icon in the notification drawer instead of the power button when you want to hang up or restart the phone.

You can also activate features such as Blue light filter, Secure folder , Night mode over the top drawer  and eliminate the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, gain additional space on the screen and make navigation more intuitive by gesture.

When you press and hold the screen, you  can access the Samsung Themes store, where you can navigate to the wallpapers and themes areas and a series of new views, and you  can also change the home screen layout by going to "Home screen settings". You can scale up to 5x6 matrix to see smaller icons and more applications on the screen of the phone.

Finally,  let's say that the Always On Display feature is also available for the Galaxy A50,  and now let's go into technical details.

Galaxy A50 Technical Specifications and Performance

The Galaxy A50 is Samsung's  premium mid-segment  smartphone. In other words, it is placed between the middle class and admiral status. You can see this in its technical specifications and you can observe it in its performance.

For example, Wi-Fi 802.11ac is not included in many mid-range phones  , so you can take advantage of the 5GHz Wi-Fi networks with the support of  Bluetooth 5.0 Bluetooth  support is included in this phone. The Galaxy A50 is   powered by the Exynos 9610 processor. This 10 nm architecture has 8-core structure. Four of these cores are Cortex-A73 with 2.3 GHz and Cortex-A53 with four other 1.7 GHz. When we come to Geekbench,  the Galaxy A50 gets 1713 points in one core  and 5541 points in multiple cores  . The models behind it are again, while Honor 10 is in front of us. The reason Honor 10 looks so good in synthetic results is that its processor is Kirin 970, which is also included in the P20 Pro. But this is also reflected in the price. Of course, beyond the synthetic tests, the Galaxy A50, which we consider to be in real use, performs smoothly. You can run many applications at the same time, and you can use your social media applications without interruption. On the game side, the Galaxy A50, which we consider in  PUBG , shows a generally smooth performance even in the top graphic details. In this scenario, you can see square jumps in rare cases. If you are not satisfied with the situation, you can achieve a completely smooth gaming experience by reducing the graphics settings one by one.

Again, for the multimedia use of the phone, we can say that even though the loudspeaker is a single channel, it provides loud sound. However, the location where the phone is six, playing games, your finger can turn off the speaker.

Finally,  let's say that Dolby Atmos support is also available on the phone  , but this feature is activated when you connect a headset or via a Bluetooth headset. The  Galaxy M20  model is the same way we remember.

How is the Battery Performance of the Galaxy A50?

So how is the battery performance of the Galaxy A50? We   have said that the battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh . With this battery in intensive use, so we watch 30 minutes on  YouTube and 30 minutes in the game we play again in the scenario of the sinker   declined by 12 percent.

If you say what happens in daily use; we have taken a lot of photos and videos, we watch 1 full movie, we  play PUBG intermittently,  and during the day we go on the internet and check the social media applications, the battery  drops to 30% at night  . At the charging point, we can  start by saying that the box contains a  15W quick charge adapter . You  can reach the 10% charge with a 10-minute charge, and you can move the battery  up to 30% in half an hour. It  takes 1.5 hours to fully charge the phone  .

Galaxy A50 Cameras

Come on the Galaxy A50's cameras. The Galaxy A50 has 3 cameras in the back. However, one of them is not a telephoto, but a  5 MP  depth sensor. The main camera has a  25 MP  and f / 1.7 diaphragm with phase detection autofocus. The ultra-wide-angle camera comes in  8 MP  , with f / 2.2 diaphragm. One touch of the screen allows you to switch between these 2 cameras, so you can capture your photo at 2 different angles; whether normal or wide angle. With the wide-angle camera you can take  123-degree  pictures, while the depth sensor can also blur the area, so you can capture frames with bokeh effect.

As for the front camera, Samsung also   used a 25 MP camera and a f / 2.0 diaphragm camera. The live focus feature is also available on this camera, so you can still use the field blur effect in selfie shots.

Again  , you can take HDR photos with both front and rear cameras  , while you can record 1080p / 30 frames of video.

The camera interface has many options. AR Emoji , Hyper switch, slow motion, panorama and professional mode options are available. Of course, artificial intelligence is also in the Galaxy A50. When you are in Photo, when you click on the right side of the circle, you can activate visual intelligence. Thus, in 20 different defined scenes, you can take more attractive pictures with the help of visual intelligence. These include the sunset, the flowering, the landscape, the night vision. Ha, night mode does not have a special shooting option, but at this point, visual intelligence helps you to capture better frames.

When testing the cameras, we took photos in various settings and settings to see how they are performing. As far as this is concerned, the Galaxy A50 shows better performance at night while taking better photos in daylight. Especially in daytime or well-lit environments, cameras can capture fine details with the right colors and dynamics. In low light conditions, you are often deprived of details. However, even if the lighting is good at night, you can get cleaner photos. At the end of the day,   we can say that beautiful pictures for Instagram are open.
